A course unlike any other! In this course you will learn to create artwork and crafts using a variety of fabric and fibre techniques, such as knitting, embroidery, felting, weaving, quilting, beading and macrame. You will be introduced to creative processes and become familiar with the tools and equipment used in fabric and fibre arts. Through project based learning we will explore how textile arts and crafts are used for storytelling, passing on of culture, traditions and skills. No prior skills in art, textiles or crafting needed!  Come join us to learn a new hobby, spend time with your classmates and join in with the maker movement!
