Physical Geography 12

Physical Geography 12 will undertake the study of processes and patterns in our environment, this includes the natural environments of land, water and air, along with the ways that human activities have modified these systems. The course will maintain a systems approach in order to increase our understanding of the relationships found within the natural environment and of the human relationship to our environment. The goal of this course is to promote the geographically literate person.  One who is able to interpret the landscape and understand the interconnections between their actions and the Earth’s physical systems. This is important so that we can make informed decisions and identify appropriate strategies for the stewardship of the Earth. This course will improve the capacity to understand, appreciate and enjoy our world. Put simply – Geography makes the world we live in more meaningful.
