Credits: 4

Economics 12 is a fun and interesting course that examines the study of human behavior in a financial context with a focus on three key questions. First, why do people do what they do?  Second, how do financial systems and economies work?  And third, how do people and financial systems relate to one another?  The content of this course is a combination of theory and application.

Course activities are intended to help students better understand economic topics in their own lives as well as in the world around them. A variety of games and activities are incorporated into lectures to develop economic thinking and analysis skills. Economics 12 is a valuable course for students planning for post-secondary or those interested in careers in policy, business and finance!
