Art Studio 12 – Dual Credit

Art Studio 12/ Dual Credit with Camosun 

Dual Credit Studio Art allows students the opportunity to receive a credit for Art Studio 12 as well as a Camosun Art credit that is transferable to some post-secondary institutions. Students will work with both a Reynolds instructor and a College Professor to explore and grow their artistic abilities in a variety of both traditional and contemporary mediums. Students will be encouraged to define their own voice in the work they do through an individualized approach to learning. At the end of the class, successful students will have developed a portfolio of work that can use to apply to post-secondary school or apply for scholarships.

Pre-Requisites: Students will need to fill out a SIP application form, pay a registration fee of $43.51, and have completed English 12 or be scheduled to take English 12 or to have completed the English assessment for Camosun College. The program requires students to spend approx $50 for the required artistic materials.
